The South Carolina Clean Energy Business Alliance, South Carolina Research Authority, and the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative are privledged to present the Bioenergy Potential from Biomass in Clarendon County, SC and from Algae in Colleton County, SC Final Report. 

This report was funded under the technical assistance category of the Rural Business Enterprise Grant courtesy of the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development. 

This report details the feasibility of commercial and military spec aviation biofuel production in Clarendon and Colleton Counties. Fuel production companies Sapphire Energy, Algenol Biofuels, Cobalt Technologies and Red Rock Biofuels participated in the development of the report by providing information about locating a biofuel production facility in the I-95 Corridor.  

As a follow up to the Interstate 95, South Carolina: Resources to Support Revitalization through Clean Energy and Biotechnology Report produced by SCRA, the Clarendon and Colleton County Report is the next iteration for panning for and ecouraging direct invenstment.
